Barbiturate - Euthanasia agent

Formula: Pentobarbital Sodium 39%, Diphenylhydantoin 5%.

Indications: To cause a humanitarian, painless and fast euthanasia.

Dosage: Horses: 8.8 ml every 50 kg bw.

Administration: Intravenous or intracardiac. The intravenous injection is the preferred administration route. The intracardiac injection can be used when the intravenous route is not feasible. The calculated dose should be administered as bolus, in a single application.
