Analgesic

Formula: Tramadol Hydrochloride 5%.

Indications: Treatment and prevention of pain, either visceral or somatic, moderate or severe, acute or chronic. Post-surgical relief.

Dosage: Horses: 2 ml every 100 kg bw (1 mg/kg). Interval between doses: 8 to 12 hours with a total maximum of 10 mg/kg per day, except by epidural route (6 hours).Treatment duration: It will depend on the pain to treat and the acting veterinarian criterion.

Administration: Horses: Slow intravenous injection (10 minutes at least) or epidural route.

Presentation: 20 and 50 ml vial.
