Hormonal

Formula: Oxytocin 1,000 IU, excipients q.s.100 ml.

Indications: Uterine inertia, endometritis, pyometra, placenta retention. Adjuvant in uterine involution, and hemorrhage control post parturition. Agalactia due to stress, mastitis or others.

Dosage: Swine: Uterine motility inducer: 0.5 to 3 ml (5 to 30 IU of Oxytocin). For agalactia: 0.5 to 2 ml (5 to 20 IU of Oxytocin). Horses: Uterine motility inducer:  0.5 to 5 ml (5 to 50 IU of Oxytocin). For agalactia: 1 to 2 ml (10 to 20 IU of Oxytocin). Sheep and goats: Uterine motility inducer: 0.5 to 3 ml (5 to 30 IU of Oxytocin). For agalactia: 0.5 to 2 ml (5 to 20 IU of Oxytocin). Cattle: Uterine motility inducer: 1 to 5 ml (10 to 50 IU of Oxytocin). For agalactia: 1 to 2 ml (10 to 20 IU of Oxytocin). Treatment duration: Single dose. It can be repeated at 30 minutes.

Administration: Intramuscular.
